New desk pen

[Penultimate]

This is a redo of a pen I made previously. It broke due to little or no clearance between inside and outside threads. I like this tapered design with closed ends better. I use red cartridges for mark ups at work. I messed up one thing, I made it too short to hold two cartridges. Overall, I'm quite pleased the design and construction.

The colors complement one another and the fit and finish is superb!
Question...why long enough for 2 cartridges? Is one a spar on hand when needed?
