First attempt at a chevron pattern, quite a few pieces of fire wood working out initial errors. I'm happy with the final results.

I would be VERY happy with that result .
They look great. I have made several myself but have always left them raw wood with an oil coating, what stain/dye do you use?

The first board reminds me of Charlie Brown's shirt. Good job on the grand segmenting.

No stain or die used. The first two are hard maple & sapele. The third is walnut & honey locus. All three are mostly end grain, the first has face grain sapele ends. The only treatments are mineral oil & homemade wood butter.

I like them...but they make my eyes go a bit wonky. Especially the three chevron board. But I still like them a lot.
