@rherrell was kind enough to fabricate a converter for all my custom 5/8 tool posts I use for pen and kitless turning. He was so fast he beat the delivery of my new powermatic pm 2014
The picture below shows one of my heavily used flat top Rick Herrell 5/8" posts in the new converter.
remember the goal here is to be able to continue to use my existing tooling for small work!
I will use 1" tool post rests for heavier work and have already ordered and received 2 new 1" rests from Rick.
Any of you are welcomed to use the design.
