So last Oct/Nov my wife and I did a 5k walk for kidney cancer since her mother passed away from it in March 2010. We had her picture on our back and even talked to the mother of the guy who the walk was in memory of. It was really cool. So a couple days ago I contacted the brother of the guy who had died from kidney cancer and wanted to offer a couple nice pens for a donation for the raffle they have. He forwarded it to his sister-in-law who was married to the guy. She replied this morning and was very grateful and said she would be honored to accept my donation of beautiful pens. So I think I am going to make her an inlay kit for the kidney cancer ribbon just for her, and then a couple nice pens with boxes for the raffle. I have until Nov 12th to get them done so I can for sure take my time. I figured she would appreciate the ribbon pen and then also she would be able to see first hand what they look like. For one of the raffle pens I am going to use the Broadwell Scepter rb kit from PSI. The other I am not 100% sure yet, maybe a full size Majestic or something. Now I just have to think about what kind of blanks I want to use for both raffle pens. I just wanted to share this because like many others I love to give and make people smile. This is a great opportunity for me to spread some cheer.

How about a Dayacom Emperor FP in Rhodium & 22kt Gold for your second Pen? PM if interested.

In honor of my daughter passing away in November of G. B. cancer, i would like to donate to the raffle also. I would use the pens you just mentioned-Broadwell or Majestic.
No mention of who made it, just would like to do it.

That is very generous of you. I will send you a PM. Also sorry for your loss, what a great way to honor her memory.

I just recently donated 5 pens for an organ donor silent auction. Being a recipient of a kidney, I felt it was the very least I could do. I also got a massive amount of donations for the 5k walk for organ donors.

That is so awesome! I know it makes me feel good to do stuff like this.
