I'm not a member over at Wood Turners and I know many of you do that kind of work as well so I thought I'd offer the work here first. If I shouldn't be doing this please just let me know.
I work at Wilmington University in Delaware and a friend of mine and I produced both the full size Mace (about 6' tall) as well as the shorter ones carried by various faculty during graduation ceremonies. He did the turning and I did the finishing. We need four more of the shorter ones (about 18"-24") and my friend is no longer available. I can send one of the ones we have to be used as a pattern or better yet to use with a duplicator. They need to be made out of American black walnut. If you'd be interested in this project drop me a line and we can work out the details.
