Pipes,

You lost me! 92 mm is 3 INCHES in DIAMETER???? Sorry, not trying to be argumentative, but I don't understand the question.

9.2mm is .4", which would be slimline size, if that helps.

Ed you are right about the diameter...customer obviously failed to put in the decimal point.

I am trying to find one that has a quality finish i.e. chrome or
titanium. All I seem to find are the 10kt plating which we all know
will wear off.

Thanks

If the teacher's pen style would work, you could substitute the nibs and bands from slimline kits with better platings. It would take 2 kits to do it, but might give you what you want.

please note that the parts are not inchangeable between the slimline and the teacher pen. The tube on the two way is 3/8 and a slimline is smaller. I've made a few of these and have yet to find parts the nib is short and a longer one will not let the refill out.

When the two-way is turned, if I remember correctly, it is a pretty "fat" pen, not likely to make your 9.2mm (customer did NOT pull this number out of a hat, there must be a reason for it) diameter.
