I recieved a request tonight, through Etsy, to make a pen out of 2 - 30.06 rifle brass, which would be supplied. Unfortunately, I can't do it, and I was hoping someone on the forum would want to do it.
They are from a young mans fathers funeral. I take it he was a military man and was buried with full honors. The children were given the fired brass, and the young man would like to have a pen made out of 2 of them.
Due to alot of different factors, I can't commit to a definite time as to when I can have them done. I spend a lot of time taking care of my elderly mother, going to hospitals, doctors, etc. I haven't been out in my shop in a couple of weeks, and now that the cold weather is moving in, it doesn't look like I'll be going out there for a couple of months.
If there's anyone out there that wants to take on the job, I'd appreciate it, and I'm sure the young man would too. Just let me know how you want the guy to contact you to make arrangements.
