Need some suggestions

I need to find something to pair with this lower barrel for a Jr Statesman. I had a major blow out with the upper barrel and hate to waste the lower part. Dark, light, wood, acrylic, I am open to any ideas that you are willing to offer.

Hairy banksia filled with red resin!

I actually have a cap from a hairy banksia pod blank. Back painted silver and jr series tube. I ruined the body when trying to refinish it. I did a pens plus finish and wasn't happy with it and when redoing it the applied heat from friction made the material fail.

This one needs refinishing but may look cool, if you want it let me know. It could be a mutation of two of George's wildest blanks.
