Finished up some salt and pepper mills and thought I would share. What we have is an 8" salt mill and pepper mill set. The salt mill is Hickory and Padauk and the pepper mill is Wenge and Padauk. Next we have a salt shaker pepper mill combo I traded the 6" operating rod out for an 8". It is composed of Katalox, Sapele, Paduak, and Maple.

I love them all !!! . The symmetric patterns on the top two make them especially attractive !! . . You did a great job segmenting the blanks !!!!

The symmetry on the combo one is also very striking and impressive !!!

How did you cut the layered discs ? . I don't see much effect of the kerf so it must have been a very thin blade !! . Beaut work !!

Thanks Mal I cut the disk on my bandsaw using a sled.
