Hello old friends
First allow me to tell you that this became a rather long post - however if you take your time to read it just may be to your benefit.

I have regretfully been away from the site for a very long time.
The last time I was actively posting and involved on a regular basis was about one year ago - perhaps longer???
Some may recall me be this - I was the individual that was actively working on creating a solid metal custom casting/mold and developed a Fusion Razor head Kit.
I was successful on a small scale making about a dozen or so in total for friends and family until I had to step out of the shop for yet more back surgeries. Once I recovered from that I failed to get back into the shop.
I hope a few of you still remember me.... and I look forward to meeting some new people as I plan on becoming more active on a regular basis.

What I need to accomplish at this point is to create a fresh starting point to get back into my shop so that I can start turning again.
I have a peg board wall full of pen kits and more blanks than I could even begin to count.

In order to stay within the proper code of conduct on forum I was hoping I could get some advice from the members and perhaps the administrators on how I can list a great deal / "almost all" of these items for sale on the site.

After much thought I feel that the best way for me to get back into my shop is to completely start over.

This means I would like to first take an accurate inventory of all items I have on hand and then list them at a great price to those who might be interested in buying them. I realize that I am not going to be able to sell them for what I purchased them for but I am ok with that.
I would rather liquidate my inventory and collect ? X ? amount of dollars so that I can start purchasing new items as I need them.
Please don't get the wrong the idea --- These are not items that would be thought of as junk. All the items I am going to offer are brand new unopened items.
At this point my inventory is so large that it is overwhelming and I just cant function this way.

I would greatly appreciate your advice on how I should post the items for sale that would make it quick and easy for myself and those that purchase. Most importantly do so within the forums rules.
I have several hundred various pen kits.
Perhaps some of these items are some that are no longer even available such as the red - white or blue resin stopper blanks with American flag pendants. From my memory these were becoming hard to get for a while and I have about a dozen or more.
I have Thousands of pen blanks. Some are already identified and some have lost there tags but for the most part they are top shelf quality. I was not one that purchased low end products for my use. I was thinking of making up misc. flat boxes to fit as many as possible and offer them for a great price.
This is where I need your suggestions.

****A special group items that may interest a few people****
I use to cast my own blanks.
By the advice of a couple of the IAP members that are among the BEST blank makers I put together a very large inventory of mica powders, translucent and opaque dies along with several different molds so that I could make almost any pen style blank possible at the time.
I am no longer interested in casting my own blanks so I would like to be able to pass all of these supplies to someone that would be able to use them at a greatly discounted price.

I will start the process of inventorying everything I would like to sell over the next week.
In the meantime I would greatly appreciate anyone to offer suggestions on what would be the best way to approach this very large "Liquidation Sale"
Thank you in advance for your suggestions.
I look forward to getting the process started so that I can get a fresh start on this art form I once enjoyed so very much!

IF ANY OF YOU LIVE IN THE UPSTATE PORTION OF SOUTH CAROLINA AND WOULD BE INTERESTED IN A LARGE PURCHASE I'M SURE WE COULD WORK OUT SOMETHING FOR YOU TO COME BY AND SEE EVERYTHING FIRST HAND!!!"

Thank you

Hey Kevin, welcome back! Sounds like a big project. There is a forum - Deals-Trades Gifts & Wants that should work. Great price breaks will encourage quick sales, are you wanting to dump everything quickly or do you want to recoup your costs?

Stick it a little at a time or in big lots in deals & trades. If you are going to offer the items at a fair discount, I and many others would surely be interested in larger lots. Fill up a Medium or Large Flat Rate Box to save on shipping.

Hey Kevin! Good to see you around again. Sorry to hear of your back issues. I had to have back surgery last year so I feel your angst!

You might want to contact the charlotte and Carolina piedmont groups to see if they'd be interested in any of your items.

Thank you everyone for your welcome back responses. It is nice to get back into the shop and talk with some friends I have not been in touch with in a long time.
I'm going to inventory everything this week.
I will pull anything I want to keep and set it aside. For the most part I'd rather sell everything at a discount. Even though I will not be getting all of my investment back, hopefully it will be a win / win situation for me and the buyers. I built up this huge amount of supplies by buying bulk deals here on IAP. Example I have about 50 cigar pen kits....etc. At the time I was selling a lot of pens and in the shop everyday.
Thank you for you responses and PM's
It's great to be back on the forum.

As for the casting supplies, It would be great if they're was someone interested in startng to cast there own blanks I have everything you need to get started. The pressure pot is probably not worth the shipping cost being that you can build one for the same money or maybe less. I have the dyes and a large selection of mica powder.
I'll try to get everything counted this week and work out the best way to offer it up for sell.
Thank you
Kevin

Once you inventory your kits -- shoot me a PM with the inventory and your price. You might be able to get rid of all of them at once.
