need KD ambrosia maple boards

maybe a longshot but I'm sure there are flatworkers here too. I'm needing heavily streaked 4/4 x 10 wide boards, no checking. Anyone have some they'd part with? mike

That's where I get all my lumber, but I can just drive there, the shipping might kill you. On the other hand, they have ALOT of Ambrosia Maple!


edit... Just remembered, all their stuff is air dried, 5%-6%, you wanted KD.

I have a 3/4x11.5x46 piece but it's not "heavily" streaked

Check out Keim Lumber. Specialty Wood | Exotic Lumber | Exotic Woods - Keim Lumber
I go there about every other week and they carry a large assortment of exotic wood. If you call them I'm sure they can find what you want. The pictures really don't do their wood justice since they try to show a sampling. What's in this section is much more impressive to see in person. Try asking for Roy Hershberger, he's a Millwood Specialist that usually works in the exotic wood section.
