trying to remodel my shop, was just a moveable metal building, gonna insulate and put up plywood floors, and walls, add more skids for better support, rewire it, put an a/c and lots of lights. Anyone care to share their must haves in their shop? Gonna make work tables on 3 walls and looking at screwing all the tools down, sink a casting pot, lots of storage under the work tables, and a desk type table for design and drawing. Thank you in advance

4 plex outlets every 8ft, 4ft off the floor. in addition to the ones at 16-18 inches off the floor. Plus At least 3-220v outlets.

Dust collection under the floors, lots of lumber storage, plumbed for an air compressor (put that and the Dust Collector outside in their own room to cut down noise and dust).

Check your local building codes before starting any work !!! You may have to have a remodeling permit and drawings before you can start. In our town, if you can take it apart and move it, they can't tax it as a permanent structure. What are the dimentions ?? Jim S

Gotta have room for a fridge! You know, for CA glue, water, ...beer.
good suggestions for building codes and electrical power. Give yourself plenty of lighting and storage.
