Need help pricing lathes

Needing opinions on used lathe prices.

First is Jet 1014 with extension on a homemade stand and 2 extra belts. It's been a great lathe but haven't used it in months since I got a bigger lathe and I don't get enough shop time to need two lathes. Thinking $350?

Next is a turncrafter 12" VS. I bought this off craigslist last week with a bunch of other stuff so weeding through what I want to keep and not. Thinking of selling this one as a package deal as pictured with most of the basic items needed to start turning. Retail of this package is about $900+. Thinking $500?

Looks like you have the right idea for moving these lathes.

I wish I could buy that Turncrafter but like everyone else the drive is just a bit longer than I would like.

The price seems very fair. It is will just be a matter of how long you are willing to sit with it/them.

Ask a little above what you want to get out of them. You can always come down or ask for a best offer !! Check on Amazon, Craigslist, and E Bay to see what others are selling for, not what they are asking for. List them on this site when you come up with an amount. Most people would rather deal with someone they can relate too. Shipping could be a big added expense. Jim S

Hey Gary,
Unfortunately no, I wish I could swing it though. If they are coming up this way anytime I'm happy to hold it. It's in my shop parked right now. It's a great lathe.
