need help on printer---decals

I went and purchased a hp 4655 inkjet printer and have read the directions,,and I have my decal loaded on my computer,,my question is,,does anyone know how to get the decal on the printer ready to print and also how to downsize it to fit a pen,,i have read the directions over and just cant seem to figure it out,,lol,,a computer isn't one of my strong points,,i was thinking maybe 3/4 to a inch that I need,,anyone that can help me I would really be gratefull,,thank you

What program are you using when you say "I have the decal loaded on my computer"?

If you are just previewing it you need a graphics editing program to resize it properly.
