Need help finding an old thread

Last year, perhaps the year before, there was a discussion on the forum about quality winter boots. I believe these are made in a small town close to the Canadian border by a small company, perhaps in North Dakota or Minnesota and I have searched and googled to no end.

If memory serves one of the members lives in the town where these are made and highly recommended them.

Does this discussion ring a bell to anyone?

It was a thread started on 12/11/09 and you made several posts on it about that ferocious dog of yours. Gettin' cold up there, is it? The website for the boot maker is http://www.mukluks.com/.

Well I'll be darned.......... that's it thanks! I want to get some of those, and NO... it's not that cold here, I just want to be stylish! The other night it got down to -6, the only other time I've ever been that cold was on top of Snowbird ski mountain but I was dressed for it.

I didn't know you were still a member, hadn't seen you post in ages, I'll PM you.

FYI....... Herbis IS NOT a ferocious dog, he's my baby, qiute often a butthead but still my baby!

Wow George - I was excited when I saw the photos - then I saw the prices :frown: I think that will be waiting a bit, but those are AWESOME boots ... you'll be warm AND stylish. :biggrin:

They are pricy but I want a nice warm pair of boots. Out walking my baby in the wee hours, my feet get really cold and I have nothing to keep them warm and these things look SO comfy!
 
Go on Endless.com They have good boots much cheaper than that. I got some for my trip to Nome last year. Rated -40 for Just over $100
 
I have Mukluks for my dog and he looks really stylish in them!
The salt they use in the winters hurts his feet and these protect him.
Cost a fortune but they last a long time!
