Need 3d print file jet 1221 steady rest

I am helping my son turn wizard wands and we get a lot of chatter in the middle of a 14" spindle turning.

I saw a guy on YouTube had a 3D printed steady rest for a 1014.

Anyone know of any files for the jet 1221

Design your own! Many free tutorials on youtube. I decided to learn freecad and used tutorials by mangojelly. That design
is pretty simple would be a good learner project.
 
No need to start from scratch, how about this...
  1. Print the one you show above.
  2. Measure the the distance from the steady rest centerline and the lathe centerline.
  3. Quickly design a spacer block (TinkerCAD online) and print that.
Optionally, figure the distance gap (#2 above) and modify that design to lift it up off the way of your 1221.

It doesn't even have to be exact. As long as you are close the 3 adjustable arms will get you there.

Depending on the printer/program you have you can up and down scale models. If it needs to be adjusted for the hight a spacer can be designed.
