Nasty email saying an ACH Transfer was denied

Be careful there is something new I have not seen before and it tricks people into believing a direct deposit of some sort was denied by ther bank with a document link which actually trys to download a serious virus onto you pc. Here is what the wording is in it:

The ACH transaction ID: 633546444263, that had been sent from your checking account recently, was declined by the the bank of the recipient.

ACH transfer suspended​

Transaction ID: 633546444263Reason for rejection:please see the report below for detailsTransaction Report report (series of numbers.doc is listed here) (Microsoft Word Document)

I think what scares me the most is so many of us have a direct deposit of some sort. I have already forwarded this to the company so they can look into it.

I have got several of them, its BS. Also if you get one that says your fedex or ups order was not deliverable do not open any attachments. Check online for scams prior to opening anything.....DAMHIKT........

I see these all the time but this one was different and I delete them as I hope others do but not before I forward it.

I got one of these the day my direct deposit was supposed to have gone in. In fact the whole school got one. Talk about panic. The HR department was flooded with calls.

I get those to certain emails of mine that only family knows. so I know it is bogus.

Oh I know it's bogus and I have a quick cure for those that send them A Tall Tree and a Short Piece of Rope.
