My very first pen!

Hey just finished my first pen! I made it out of zebra wood! Any suggestions and helpful criticism would be awesome! Hope the pic worked first time putting a pic on. Thanks!

Congrats on your first pen! Looks good!
I'm not sure why that style of kit is recommended for beginners (maybe cost?), because imo they're not that easy to make.

Nice job - I like the slight curve on your barrels. I prefer that over a simple straight line style or overly fat barrels with an "hour-glass" neck, but you should experiment with different styles to see which you like best. Be sure to keep your first few pens - especially #1.

Congrats Jay! looks like you nailed the nib end, clip end looks a little over size at the band,l cant see the clip end over all it's very very good for first try much better than i done.

Fit-n-finish look great(a lot better then anything I did for a first)!
Zebrawood was a good choice for this hardware(matches a lot better the more I look at it)!

Congratulations. Looks good! I an curious about your finish. The light parts look a little darker than I would expect for Zebra wood.
