I posted this to facebook last night and thought I'd share it here too.

You know, I've been thinking a lot about what happened in Boston. My heart goes out to those affected by this, the families of those murdered or hurt, the locals that are feeling fear for no good reason. But we as Americans will overcome and move on. Stronger. More determined.

The person(s) that did this are cowards. That is the only word that I think fits someone who perceives a problem or wrong and attacks the innocent to try to prove a point. It takes bravery to face a problem and fight through the system. It takes bravery to stand up publicly to those that push you down. But it is cowardice to attack the innocent and hide. These people are not patriots. They are not warriors. They are not soldiers. They are not men. They are Cowards.

I also ask that while we mourn those that were murdered this week, that we also remember that we are not alone in this. America is by most counts fortunate that these occurrences are a rarity. Many places in the world find these activities as a commonplace. Mourn all that are murdered by the cowards of this world.

They are COWARDS, and they most assuredly DO NOT stand for what I believe.
