I made it through fine, just 4 cuts on my stomach, and soar as all get up. The pain where my galbladder was is gone.

EWWW, as soon as i read 4 cuts to the stomach, I knew it was gall bladder, had to have mine taken out 2years ago, I feel so much better now! I was back to work in a week
 
I had mine out a few years ago. The first few days you will be sore. The thing I was tired of was the nurses asking if I passed gas yet.
As far as hunting this weekend would be better to rest. You can go next weekend.
 
Take this how you want I went through simple gall bladder surgery and in a little pain like yourself. If the pain where your gall bladder was or you get stomach pain get to a doctor and I will tell you why. I had an idiot dr who left some small stones in my bile duct which blocked my liver and pancreas and damn near killed me and turning me into a type 1 diabetic as my pancreas is dead. I don't want to scare you just to give a heads up I don't want anyone going through what I went through so be safe.
