My new toy...

Bought myself a 12" Delta disc sander today. This should make my barrel squaring jig alot easier to use. The little table on my craftsman disc/belt sander was way to shallow and too flimsy to keep everything square and true. I am ready for a little shop time so I can put it to use!

I had a couple of blanks glued up and gave it a try. It's awesome! Bye bye drill press mounted barrel trimmers! The jig pictured that I bought from Beartooth Woods coupled with a set of punches from harbor freight will allow me to accurately square up all blanks.
