Nice stuff brother. I am a fan of Rikon gear--I think those are the best choices in that class of tool out there. I know their expensive (more than the grinder itself) but I will wholeheartedly recommend CBN wheels if they are in the budget. They run cooler than regular wheels, sharpen any type of steel, which the stock wheels won't do, they are perfectly balanced and run so quiet. I love mine--bought them from Woodturners Wonders: CBN Wheel Pair 8 inch, 80 and 220 grit, 5/8" arbor – Wood Turners Wonders and I recommend them highly.
I turned a few small items (pens) on that same lathe, and it was a smooth, accurate, well balanced lathe.

I can afford the CBN wheels but thought I would practice with the stock wheels first since they came with the grinder. But that is a good price for a pair.
