My latest accomplishment

This pen was made from a log given to me by a friend in NW Arkansas near Harrison. He ownes a very large tract of land and cuts a lot of cherry and walnut. This was from a cherry tree that for some reason was left by the buyer. I cut the blanks from that log, and almost never got one that didn't crack.

Im still have a lot of trouble with my finishing, but I'm working on it.

Not a bad looking pen Steve. Using CA as you go should help keep things together.[]
