My First Tru Stone

First off, thanks again for all the helpful advice from my questions last night concerning turning this material. Secondly, I know that this is very bland compared to the pens on this site by you fine turners so forgive me for posting. I just wanted to show it off to say thanks for the help!
I turned this wall street III with a turquoise/gold matrix tru stone blank this evening. This was the first of a lot of "seconds" I bought off ebay. Turned with carbide tool and finished with micro mesh to 12000 then polished.
This blank has a very small imperfection in the gold matrix that I hid under the clip. I thought this turned very nicely and will defintely be making more from these blanks!

Nothing wrong with posting that pen. Tru-Stone can be a challenge even the blanks that are considered easy.

Don't sale yourself short! There is nothing bland about this pen.
