If you want to pick up some more info on turning bowls, you might think about attending the upcoming Mid-Atlantic Woodturner's Symposium held at the Lancaster Expo Center in September - not far from you. Unfortunately not much pen turning focus, but lots of good sessions on bowls and other creative items. Here is the Link
