i also bought michael's resin.....it's handy

i poured and colored my first block-o-plastic. 1/2 hour later....gawd did it get hot!
now that it's cooled down to room temperature....is that telling me that it's cured and ready to cut?

I think I'd wait a day or two so the inners have time to cure, believe I'm no expert on the matter,so take that advice with a grain of salt.

Yes is is ready to cut. Once the chemical reaction happens (it gets hot) then just wait for it to cool and start working it. When it gets room temp it is done. Enjoy.

i took a leap of faith, considering that i bought the resin and stuff just to see what i can do with it, so why not.

Mine always have a sticky exterior, but the inside is always dry. If I squeeze the mold and it presses in on the sides, then it isn't dry and I wait a while longer.
