My first Jr. Antony on Mokume

I have been away from the shop for a couple of weeks and was able to get in a little shop time this weekend. It felt good. I paired up my bonus Mokume blank with a Black Ti-Gold Jr. Antony.

Isn't it amazing how from the same stick you can get such different looks? That is one interesting thing about the M3 blanks - the look can change rather dramatically from one end to the other and with a little more turned off.

The difference struck me as well. The blank looked uniform before I turned it.

The finishes and colors blend beautifully.

At first look, I did not like the difference between the barrels, but the more I looked at it I came to see it as a positive, giving the pen character.

I had the same reaction. The pen continues to grow on me.
