My First Dish/Bowl ???

I am new to turning and I decided I would like to try turning something other than pens. So this is my first attempt at making a Dish /Bowl. It is made from a 2x4x4 block of Sycamore with a bees wax and mineral oil finish. All C&C are welcome.

From the pics, it looks like you did a super job! Congratulations! Good to see that you finished the bottom as well.
Sycamore has some nice grain patterns. One of our club members cut some sycamore which had some red to it. It really stands out nicely.

I just did my first one too but the wood is green so it is now in Brown paper bag for drying . I took pictures of it so will post those when I get to my computer. Your bowl looks great. Fay
