Here is my first attempt at a bottle stopper. I really enjoyed making this. It is a chrome stopper with one of Ed' 3D resin blanks. It turns very nice. Next time though I will cast my own. Need to visit Michaels to see what I can put in the resin. Not the coolest shape, but then again it is my first. Surely not the last. Comments are encouraged as to help me improve. Thanks.

Looks very nice. Beginner or not, if you're please with the results, then it is perfect. I too have been looking into doing more stoppers, but with some gothic look. I have heard that using the Resin, you have to be carefull as it shatters too much. I am looking into a product called Easy-Flo 30. its the same stuff that the clear screwdriver handles are made of. It supposed to be more stronger and is a 1:1 mixing ratio, plus can be tinited too.

Good Luck with many more stoppers and turning.
