So, this was one of the first goals I set when I first started casting resins. I wanted to get that effect of an explosion or fire trapped in stasis. I didn't know that this color was going to work out so perfectly for it. I was expecting something a bit brighter, but suffice it to say I'm overjoyed at what I got.

Thanks! This one caught me completely by surprise, to be honest. Now I'm thinking about interference green with some modification to get blue and green flames like this. That will likely be my next casting attempt.
 
Your really doing good on your casting. Improving more each time.:good:You will be another Brooks pretty soon.:smile: Really like that blank.

I spun the green/blue last night. Colors just weren't doing what I hoped and I had a HUGE fail with the reverse paint. LOTS of brass showing. The barrels are off to the side, and now I'm investigating what it looks like doing this style of casting as a 3 cup pour.
