My Christmas Collection Thread

So I am putting things together for Christmas gifts this year. My plan is to do Executives for the Men and Designers for the Women with each couple getting matching woods. I will be updating this thread with new pics and info as I get stuff done. I hope you enjoy the Journey :airplane:

Here is Pen 1 of the Christmas Collection

This Pen is for my Dad. An Executive wrapped in Spalted Maple

I did notice that I got a little carried away with the barrel trimmer and the blank ended up hair short which caused the refill to stick out even though it was retracted (you can see it in the pic). I was able to trim a smidge off the end of the refill and now it fits perfectly.

When you trim too much, you can always cut a tenon and then add an accent that extends slightly beyond the brass to compensate. Just an idea. I've been there.
