Are celebrating 51 years of wedded bliss today at 11am.

We walked down the aisle at St. Rita's Roman Catholic Church in Gouldsboro, PA and were married by Fr John Dougherty (later Aux. Bishop of Scranton, PA. 51 years 6 kids and 7 grandkids later we're still going. Still together, still happy and intending to be together for the rest of this life.

congrats, my parents celebrate 45 next month and i'm planning on keeping tradition with my wife. i just hope at 51 years of marriage i can still remember my own name never mind all the details.

Congratulations to both of you. That is quite an accomplishment, you have a legacy that will live forever. Just think how many people would not be here if you two never met......

Leroy, congratulations to you both, quite an achievement.

Like you, we celebrated 51 years together this month, the 11th.

In that time we managed to bring up 3 kids, and now have 6 grandchildren and, believe it or not, 4 great grandchildren.

Leroy,

Kind regards to you both we married 58 yrs ago and Wilma has been my best friend for 61yrs.

We work towards this life and the one to come.

Congratulations indeed to you both.

Peter.

Congratulations! A half century of commitment is rare these days.
Well, we didn't commit for a half-century - we committed for our mortal lifetime. We said "until death do us part" and we took that very seriously. Our good times together far out weigh the bad (and there were some bad time) so on the whole we have had a happy, good life. Now, even though we have entirely different interests, and do far more things separate than together - we still make sure we take our evening meal together every day and have that time for each other.

Congratulations! And to the others as well. My bride and I only have about half as some of y'all. No grandkids yet, but our daughter is getting married next May. Hoping to make train whistles in a few years. I've got some favors to return. With interest.
