Yesterday's project. My 3rd bespoke and my best if I say so myself. That said, every new pen is a learning experience. I have put countless hours and even more dollars into this pursuit. I guess if it was easy, everyone would be doing it.

It's better than my 3rd try! The large step between the barrel and grip section will get uncomfortable to hold. Start thinning that down as much as you can. Then the cap to match. Keep going!

Looks great. Section maybe a little bit long . Result is a shorter barrel and a longer cap. But everything fits great. Cap and barrel line up great. My third pen was a disaster, as was my 10th…

Thanks. I have been trying to thin them dow, but it seems to be too thin at times. I only have an M13 in triple start and usually use an M10 for the section with a #6 Boch. I would like to with to an M13/M9 combo with a #5 Boch. I have an M12x1 but don't want to buy the triple start until I try a few.

For alumilite, about 0.8m - 1.0mm is enough to keep it structurally sound and rigid.
