Just finish 25 mugs for my summer shows and I thought I post a few.

These look great! Looks like a lot of work with the segmenting. I've been thinking about trying these for a while now. I'd imagine the wood would provide a nice insulating layer.

The wood does insulate pretty well.
I do the knurling with a Sorby micro texturing tool.

Those are my favorites too. Just take a little longer to make but I think it's worth the effort
