Well, I thought I had found a good source of antler. I ordered a handful to see what the quality was, told them I was using them to make pens, so please send some a bit thicker.

5 White tail deer tines, 2-3" long, $1.00 each
5 same as above, slightly different quality, $1.50 each
1 elk antler tine, 8.50
Add the "small order fee for under $30", $3.00

9.88 to ship, grand total of $33.88 for 8.2 ounces of antler, four so small I can't do anything with it. Too small even for a slimline.

But, the elk antler is pretty cool.

Looks like their website gives accurate measurements and pics of the Antler pieces, I think you just ordered the wrong ones. Tine tips and pieces are going to be difficult to turn into a pen. Kind of hard to Jeer them because everything looks like it is described as is.

You need to look at the beam pieces that are listed. They should be better suited for what you need.
