My sister is a freak for anything red. I've made her several red pens over the years, but am always looking for something different. I ran across mosaic blanks At Exotic Blanks, and they caught my eye. I ordered a Starlet blank, and will be making a Ghost pen with it. It turned easily and polished well. This is a new profile for me, that I kind of copied from the photo on Exotic's website. It reminds me of a bowling pin. I'm very happy with how this turned out.

Which kit do you like better? My son likes the second one, because the ghost faces show up better.

I prefer the second one also. I think it contrasts with the blank more better (that's my good English).....
The first one seems to all blend together to my eye.

I just posted the finished pen in Show Off Your Pens.
