hi
after 35 and a half years or law enforcement excellelence( well i think so anyway) i have decided enough is enough. the shift work is getting to me, and this recent huricane helped too. I have decided to retire. i was up in the air about it for quite some time now, but monday i went to the pension office and did it.

i got into pen turning about two years ago,and got addicted. about one year ago i started craft fairs, so far it pays for it's self. now my table will have a lot more on it, maybe i will even try more and bigger shows. so far it's been local ball field events, church hall type craft fairs, and the like.

i'll be working till feburary ,then using accrued time, after that with my offical retirement date as Apr.1st. but soon,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,lots more lathe time!!!!!!!!

Wow! Congratulations on this big step. I hope your calendar goes to Saturday/Saturday/Saturday/Saturday/Saturday/Saturday/Sunday with ease.

Sulli, Congrats and ME TOO! After a 22 year military career and a 20 year teaching one, I let my principal know this year is my last. My original plan was to stay until 65 (63 now), however, life is too short. Not worth the extra Social Security.
