Just finished my first (traditional style) case pen with some moose antler my son's dog found last spring. The case is one I received this week from Gary Max. Thanks Gary. The hardware is a fancy copper slimline. Since I am a reloader as well, after the holidays I think I will experiment with some other cases and with drilling out actual bullets for nibs as well. Oh yeah, if it is of any help to anyone, it seems the second smallest bushing from my cigar pen bushing set is about the right size to use (reversed) for turning the lower end of the top barrel to mate with a .308 case. I swear - this pen turning thing is turning into a minor obsession. I wonder if I can sue jrc for getting me started? [}
] Maybe I'll shut off the lathe for the day, then pick up a screwdriver and go sit by the fire (vodka & OJ that is).
