Monteverde Cross Refill

Has anyone tried this cross refill from Monteverde? Is it comperable to the Private Reserve refills that some of our IAP vendors carry? They reference the "low viscosity ink" like in the "Easy Flow 9000" Parker.

When I made pens that used cross refills, I used the Monteverdi. They worked better than any other Cross style refill that I found. But still NOT as good as the Parker BP refills.

I use the Monteverde "wet ink" cross style refill all the time in the European twist pen that I carry for myself. I absolutely love them. When I have customers that want a slimline that writes really smooth I usually equip them with a Monteverde refill... haven't had any complaints yet.

Reviving Lynn's old thread ... seeing yorkie's ebony graduate brought this back to mind. Love that pen, hate the Cross refills.

I have not used the Monteverde refills but I am going to try them. I noticed that Richard Greenwald has a very good price on them and a Bash 10% sweetener to boot.:wink:

I have just ordered some Monteverde and DuPont Cross refills from Colorado pens. I will see what they are like when I get home in March
