Monday Morning Radio Joke

I heard this joke on the radio this morning. First a disclaimer: It is not my intention to disparage any profession. I am repeating this just as I heard it over the radio. I suspect the DJ telling the joke had altered it somewhat. My only intent is to start your week off with a little humor.

Television producers had come up with a new reality show. 3 contestants would be stranded on a deserted island to see how long they could last. The producers selected a Doctor, a Lawyer and a DJ for the pilot contest. The rules allowed each one to bring one personal item. Arriving on the island the contestants were curious what the others had selected as their personal island. The Doctor had brought a loaf of bread. When queried why he replied that when they got hungry they would have something to eat. The Lawyer brought a bottle of water. When asked why he said that if they got thirsty they would have something to drink. The DJ had brought a car door. This really stumped the other two contestants until the DJ explained. If they got hot they could roll the window down.

Thanks for sharing. I've heard a different version but the same point. FYI I saw that a 9 year old boy disappeared from the city that I live in. They said that he'd gotten into his mothers Beauty creams and there was one that was guaranteed to make you look 10 years younger.

I heard that and kicked out the slats on the crib years ago. I have heard it for various groups. Take your pick.
