Made this one today. I have been playing around with this design and finally got one that turned out decent. The upper barrel actually overlaps the lower about an eighth of an inch. It feels really good in my hand. For me, it will breath new life in the lowly slim pen

It actually is figured Tasmanian Blackwood. Picture doesn't do it justice. I found a small piece of it locally where I get my wood, haven't seen any since.

Nice pen. Lots of life can be breathed into the slimline kit. I love modifying slimlines...around 30+ for me so far. Keep at it. Great for the creative juices.
