I bought a dual shaft 1725 RPM 1/2" HP motor off eBay to use as a buffer/polisher. I have the Beal buffing system and Beal does not sell a "Left Hand" threaded adpator. If you don't have LH threads (or some other thing like a jamb nut or something) the CW rotation side of the buffer unscrews and launches the buffing wheel all over the shop.
My remedy for this was to purchase an extra Beal adaptor and had a machinist friend drill and tap it for a 7/16-14 bolt (which he also made). He also even made a backing nut for it. Not sure if anyone might be interested but it shure made for a purdy shop built buffer. Link to the pic of the adapter below.
