Well Coach, the blank has a lot to be desired but man the finished product is awesome! I love creativity. Job well done. I like the other one you did as well. [^]
 
I agree with Mark. Actually Coach, you're making me feel better, because that blank is how I envision my first several attempts!
 
Coach, did you glue the pieces together with woodworkers glue or was there a special wood glue you used?

Really nice pen Coach. Glad you showed the blank with that. I never done any laminations or segmenting yet. Never knew what the blanks looked like.

Nice work, there's hope for me yet. I like playing around with laminations. I did one with about 5 or 6 different bright colored woods, for use in plugs in yellowheart, or bloodwood, for a friend. You'll have to give me all of the details on how to cross them and make them fit right.
