"Who Let the Dogs Out?"

Oh, it is going to be noisy around here (MS) for a while. I must get my maroon shirts out and join in the fun!

My understanding is that this is MS's first national championship in any sport ever. Congratulations for a good series
Mississippi State's first, yes. But UM (Ole Miss) won national championships (football) back in the early '60s. Just clearing up confusion that some may have with "MS". I know you meant Miss. State, but some see "MS" as "Mississippi".

In 2014, with Dak Prescott as quarterback, the Mississippi State Bulldogs football team was briefly #1 ranked, after beating 3 top ten teams.

All of the Mississippi State games at the CWS, ehem, except for one maybe, were so awesome and exciting. And WOW, what a fan base - 24 thousand in attendance and 22 thousand were wearing maroon! My two sons and one of my daughters and I made it to Omaha to game #8 against Virginia. Before we could go we had to promise all of the Mississippi State fans that were surrounding us that we would cheer for the Bulldogs for the rest of the series - so we did!

Early on due to the unknown the NCAA allowed us season ticket holders to put them on hold for the year, which I did, so we only bought tickets to game #8 this year, but ESPN to the rescue for the other games. I/we are really looking forward to going back to all of the games in 2021). - Dave

Ahmmm! In making reference to that school up north, I must assume you are talking about the party place in Oxford. Unfortunately since Johnny Vaught left there hasn't been much in the way of football success coming from Hotty Toddy. Hail State !!!!!!!
