Picked up 8 Bamboo sample wood flooring boards at work today for a total cost of $0.00 each board is 15x15x5/8. The woven

The samples look very nice and I'm certain that you'll get some great pen blanks here. A word of caution, there is so much compressed glue in these bamboo planks that you require sharp tools to turn. They dull even the sharpest gouges rather easily. Looking forward to seeing some of your results once you're ready to post pics.
