Mini Pen Lathe

I ordered a General International Pen Turning Mini-Lathe (MODEL 25-010 MI) to take with me to the Philippines next month. It only weighs 15.5 lbs. which means I can throw it into one of my suitcases. Of course I'll have to try it out before I go. I'll be letting you know my opinion of it.

Dennis, I have a Craftsman and a Jet pen lathe that I have turned pens on for years, the only problem I have encountered is they are seriously under-powered.

We'll be watching. I suspect it'll need to be firmly mounted to some wood to be stable.
