mini captured ring goblet

Made this with the pendant backer plate..

I saw a small piece of pine that looked bored so I thought I would see what I can make.. Dont have a chuck on my lathe so I used double sided tape with the backer plate and turned using only the carbide insert tool..

Always wanted to make one of these.. Maybe next I will make one full size

It came off once and needed to retape it :wink:

The tape I use is a rolll of old carpet tape that is about 15 years old.. the stuff is STICKY!!
