The machinist at work ask me if I would be interested in a mill that he is going to sell. I don't know anything about mills but the price is right. $650. It has the automatic feed. very little used.12z bed mill at http://www.ihcnc.com/pages/bed-mill-pic.php. What do you think?

My Barber has one and does some pretty fantastic work with it. Price sounds reasonable too.

Is the mill CNC control or just has power feed on the X & Y axis, if it has CNC control, its a steal, if it doesn't its still a reasonable price.

That is a good price if it was taken care of. Does it come with anything else or just a hole, you know the one you throw more money into. seriously the extras can really add up quickly, what kind of collet/chuck will you need? bits are cheap one or two at a time. you will need a machinist vise. Probably a fly cutter. a 4 in rotary table would be useful. The new price on the website is $2,399.00 for the 12z manual

Charlie I believe that I'll buy it for myself. The wife is going to make life hell for awhile, as I told her I wouldn't buy any more toys.
