Today we had to put our "big boy" Mickey to sleep after almost 15 years. We will always remember him as a young dog when he could run like a grayhound and jump like a gazalle. A great friend for both Helen and me.

My first dog when I was a kid was a beagle. Named him Hugo! Traded my mother my parakeet for him, so I could say he was my dog. Loved him, and will never forget. Tough when you have to let them go. My folks had to have him put down when I was in the service. Sorry you lost your. It is really tough. Dogs just don't live long enough.
 
I am very sorry about the loss of your pal. Having animal friends is so wonderful. I understand how much you must miss your friend. My first dog was named Mickey. I got him when I was 5 and lost him when I was 16. I am glad you had him so long.
