i got some mica swirl pen blanks at wood craft the other day my first time to make pens out of anything other than wood the man at woodcraft said not to use a bradpoint drill bit my pen kit calls for a size 0 that i dont have will a 21/64 be to big if i can use this size bit should i use ca glue or gorilla glue thanks for your help
 
That surprises me as woodcraft imo always tell folks to use a brad point there HI end drills are brads I think... atleast the store here !! Thou I don't buy much from them ! There best drill bit made in Germany are a really good bit IMO ..

I have used brad point drills (and standard drills depending on size) on various acrylics with no problems. With either one, just drill slowly and withdraw frequently to clear the drilling debris.
